Ms Paint

Does anyone here use Microsoft paint? I really want to learn how to make cool images with it, and it would be great if there was anyone that could give me advice or link me to tutorials.

 

theres nothing you can do with ms paint thats any good except pixel art you might wanna get photoshop if you wannamake images such as sigs or avatars

Fairly untrue. I'm sure we have all seen YouTube videos where it's time lapse of someone drawing something AMAZING in MS paint.

Probably the only thing restricting art working from being produced in MS Paint is the artists imagination and creativity restricting them.

Yes if you want to make signatures and what not like pretty mcuh all the other ones you see then grab Photoshop. I hope you don't get Photoshop for that reason though. All those signatures people do, they are awful. They look so similar, it's like everyone that makes them are reading the same tutorials.

i didnt say you couldnt do great stuff with paint,but when it comes to signatures paint just doesnt do the trick

Just go to www.gimp.org. I use it all the time. Its free, and you can make really cool stuff if you work on it for a while.

If I were you buddy, I'd download Photoshop CS4 off of a torrent website, go on YouTube for guides and you're done. You can really make some amazing creations with CS4. Hope this helps.

 

Microsoft Paint + Photoshop + After Effects all three together is amazing. im not a big photoshop user but i use alot off video editing softwere and alot of the time i would make the images in them but ms paint is alot simple'r than PS say u want to crop somthing ect.. i would use paint for that

I use paint for pixels.

Heres something I was working on recently but got bored.

(It's a Hedgehog, sonic style but purple. Those swords are custom and all entirely designed by me! so don't steal)

 

Nahh....don't really think it's that good. I wouldnt use it, use GIMP or something.

 

It depends. Are you interested in upper-end GFX or just pixel art? For pixel art, sure, don't waste your time. Use mspaint. If you'd like to start making large art, signatures, avatars & more, go with photoshop. (and only photoshop)

GIMP if you're too lazy to go through all of the trouble.. however, I'll be the first to tell you that GIMP sucks.

 

MS Paint is hard to use if your making pixel art! you have to be skillfull, which im not.. search some tuts!!
