Logitech G400 help

I bought two logitech g400 mouses. One from bestbuy and another one from Amazon.

I made a return but found out that the serial number on the mouse didn't match the one on the box.

I checked the one I bought from Amazon. Same thing happened again, the serial number doesn't match on the box with the mouse...

should i be concerned about this problem? is my mouse a used item posted as new?

 

I don't think it matters. Did you buy them as used or new?

 

Both are listed under brand new.

not an open box , used , refurbished item.

 

If it comes under used or refurbished then yes it's been used.

The only situation where I've ever needed to use the serial code is when I contact Logitech for support on the product, such as needing a replacement. And even then I just use the one on the product.

 

Well, bestbuy sold it to me as brand new and it was not a refurbished or used.

I bought this from Amazon for brand new directly from Amazon.

No way its used/refurb.
