Can he trade Paypal for BTC?

I have a buyer for my league of legends account but he doesn't have BTC he only has Paypal I do not want to really use Paypal as he could just chargeback... Does anyone know if anyone here sells Crypto for Paypal and he could possibly do that? Or is that not allowed? I don't know lol

If you yourself wont take your customer's paypal because you dont trust them to not chargeback, then passing that chargeback risk onto someone else is pretty low of you, no?

Further, you'd be held liable for your customer's chargebacks.

 

I would disagree with that statement you made. I asked whether or not this would be viable, It wasn't an attempt to pass on the chargeback risk I simply wondered if any popular sellers had some form of action they take in order to prevent a chargeback as I am not experienced at all in this. Example being: a contract that is signed between both parties to prevent the chargeback and if they did chargeback he would need to pay a larger amount via assets.
Thank you for clarifying that, in the end I spoke to a credible seller just like yourself and they also told me not to deal with Paypal, hopefully I didn't come across too 'low' to you.

 

I don't think thats being low. Thats just safe trading. If someone is offering the service of exchanging PP for BTC then that is the risk they are willing to take. Maybe they require ID for PP exchanges etc. Also if the buyer is reaching out to the person offering exchange services then I do not see how @Verzik Sales would be responsible for what happens in that exchange.

I thought the whole point in this thread was that the buyer did not have access or the knowhow to use btc. So that leads me to understand that the paypal-btc exchange would be conducted through Verzik, thus, he would be held liable for the customer.

Verzik already explained himself better and has come to a satisfying conclusion.

 

there's plenty of services that offer this (special thanks to @Yoshiki to posting the threads)
as of my awareness there's however not a single "official" platform that offers these type of trades

 

If the client in question is from US, he can buy crypto using his PayPal on Coinbase

 

Does he not need to sign up to Coinbase still? He is not 18 yet, also he is from the UK. Thank you however

 

Paypal is also 18(21)+
Meaning I'd be double careful

 

He can always try https://www.bybit.com/en-US/, doesn't require KYC

 

As much as I stated that to him, he claimed that Paypal does not check any form of ID so putting in a random D.O.B works. But for Coinbase/Blockchain you will need some form of ID I'm sure. Thank you for the heads up by the way, you're a gentlemen.
