Explanation of the trade: I bought a account of him, a max main for 270$ Screenshot - def64cb4c0f1fdad6539af278f1224f8 - Gyazo Used the account for about 1hour, when it got locked we've been tryna unlock it for 3 weeks now and it wont work and Spya is not accepting the fact he doesnt have the right info ( he keeps saying its cuz i wont give him the password, which contains some very personal info), I filled the password in for him on teamvieuwer in the appeal about 5x though. How they scammed:Not refunding fully offering a 200$ refund, while i lost 270$ + 2b ( the 2b cant be proven, so i forget about that) Other relevant trade screenshots: Can provide more proof if he deny's it, but doubt he does we're still in talking terms now. but its taking too long for me.

Let me explain my view - there were no TOS (I'm aware of sythe policy), but I sell brand new account that I make myself with minimal info (unregistered email and 1 password only). So, I've sold this account as usual, he comes back after a day as states account got locked, I ask him why can't he just unlock via recovery email, he says he can't, asks me to recover via details (why not just use recovery email), I try to recover with details that I have and appeal gets denied (I'm confident account was created by this network/pc and I can provide proof to mod on this), I ask him to share details he set so we get stronger appeal, he gives me wrong password (I check password on account, it says it's wrong password, not account is locked), after that I ask him to provide password, he isn't willing to share it.




Simillar thing happens when I ask him about recovery email he set, he says he can confirm and then sends me letter from Jagex which clearly states wrong osrs in-game name and here I've got super suspicious what's happening here.


I continue to send appeals to jagex in various forms (20+ appeals sent during all this time and I know I'm using creators network/pc, because no matter how much info I put in, I don't get instant deny as compared to other network/pc), I'd be willing to show to mod (livestream) that I can get appeal to be not instant denied with only that one password that I have which from my experience shows jagex recognizes my ip as creators).



After multiple unsuccessful appeal he starts mentioning 2b (how convenient), blaming me for locked account (when I've sold 500+ accs and never had such issues) and he said he bought 50-60 accs like this which suggest me jagex might have flagged his ip.

But anyway, my concerns are that he might be pulling some weird scam (since would'nt it be in his best interested to give me password and details and recover account and his 2b?) where he still has recovery email set (maybe even payment details and other important info set) and wants free account or Jagex recovery system no longer works if you only have creators IP address and 1 password which also puts brand new account sellers of sythe in really weird situation (I hope mod will see this as important part of the issue for many if that's the case).

Regarding the customer my offers to him was -

---I'd be willing to provide full refund - no questions asked IF he provides me password (he bought acc via rsgp, so there is literally 0 info/email that would dox his mentioned binance/coinbase acc (his concerns)), so I can atleast
- confirm account password changed after refund and we get him banned from sythe.
- gives me a little hope to recover account later


--- I'd be willing to give him 75% refund (around 200usd) even if he does not provide password
and we continue to try to recover account together.
- If we're both victims of the jagex system change, I've lost 200usd, he lost 70usd + mentioned gp and we both have motivation to work together to get it all back.


--- Still think working together and recovering account would be our best scenario. (yes, we shared teamviewer session, but how do I know he inputs the right password when it seems he already lied me couple of times).

I'd really like to say that I've tried my best to be good actor in Sythe for 7 years and I hope mods can see my concerns, even if customer isn't trying to do anything bad here, if there are changes in jagex recovery system, it would really make hard for brand new accounts sellers with minimal info to continue doing business and we would get exploited again.

First of all - this is out of context and first photo is cropped and composed of two different part of conversation to make it look worse than it is, second, this where he was blackmailing about writing sythe post and saying he'll better ruin my reputation than getting partial refund and continue with trying to recover account (now I know why he did not want to write sythe post, he was banned scammer) and I was explaining to him that EVEN if it comes to me leaving sythe it wasn't his best interest to push there and to keep cooperating. Put in plain, I knew he was trying to do something sketchy (after caught his lies) and I was laying out him multiple scenarios that can happen and maybe I went to his level of dummy games and lazy typing, but this was after hours texting and baring of his rage streaks where he cursed on me and said "shut the fuck up and then continue calling me bro minutes after".

Well, it's really sad that these policies failed me, but it is what it is, will proceed according to the rules. One more question - since he's known scammer, is there are victims list or something we can check, maybe we can direct money their way or do I just go refund him? @Yoshiki

User has black-mailed me alot since i bought the acc.

How can i buy a acc of someone, it gets locked 30mins later and owner cant lock, making me lose 2B 07 and the acc seller does not even get a twc in combination with all the things he's said

Can user be DNTED until paid, and potentially get a twc for bad trading matters lol, i dont want other people to use him and get the same result as i did...

 

How's being away from PC and informing you that I'm busy at that moment is harassment or responding two minutes after you tagged me? And regarding the my last response - I'm just looking out for community since I know it happened before when known scammer's money went to victims, that's why I asked mod for confirmation, after I confirmed that I'll proceed according to the rules, no issues from my end.

 

Good day, I'd be ready to proceed with refund if mods says so, but I've got sent this to me and I'd like to share it with some thoughts added from me.



-- first point, - he confirmed he set recovery email (that was the first ever recovery email set on account), why not just use that to unlock account? Also, it wasn't recovery lock, but more due to IP changes imo. (I've built and sold 300+ accs on sythe alone and I did not have such issues, so track record suggest it's more something to do with buyers IP which claimed he bought 50-60 high end accs like this than me locking it after the sale).

-- second/third point "Buyer isn't willing to assist.." - He's not only not willing to assist but also gave me false details to work with, I had to sent multiple appeals with wrong details provided to me (first post has proof- wrong password, wrong email). At this point, I've sent like 28 appeal attempts (continue trying) and I am certain I'm using computer/internet that I've created account from because it does not get instant deny (no matter how much info I put in, it takes Jagex hours to respond) compared to other systems I've tried appealing from (where it gets instantly denied), so I think him assisting me here is crucial.

**EDIT - for community members watching, does anyone really think he put 2b on account and don't want to cooperate/assist to recover it, from my perspective, it's zero risk - if he really a victim here, he gets refund anyway, so why not go recover acc+2b? imo, he's the scammer here and calling a faggot isn't accurate in any way.

User is clearly doing everything he can to stall and waste time just like he said he would before i made a recovery seen in gyazo's before, "im not going to be nice" "Its not worth paying 270$ 'back to you sythe is a dead marketplace... ( his exact words) he's doing exactly what he said he would, got told to pay made a comment regarding my debts, debtfree now a new comment just to stall payment and idk what he's up to.

@Yoshiki We're having issues on refund. He paid 770m for account, I have mills ready to pay, but he wants bitcoin, also saying rates changed (when they are the same price they were the day he paid) and he's quoting me -20% lower rates (using sell rates as a reference). What should I do here?

He's now manipulating and harrasing while quoting me bulk rates based on 2b purchases (0.32usd/m) which is based on 1.5-2b purchases, when I accept gold at normal OSRSgp rates.




and now when I said no deal, he again harasses me into that rate by saying he'll now only accept selling rate (0.29usd/m)
