Reduce 60 Second timer between Pm's

I find it very irritating waiting 60 seconds to send each pm maybe reducing it to 30 seconds for donors or veterans may be a good idea I realizes why the timer is in place but maybe adding a pm'ing a limit for new members may be a little more effective then a 60 second timer.

I've suggested something like this awhile back. It got rejected because most say you don't need to send a pm less than every 60 seconds.

I still support though.

 

Honestly. Much support. very annoying.

 

I'm constantly faced with this.. When you're getting loads of PM's regarding different topics you normally need to reply to multiple of them. I'm not a fan of spreading things out and would rather do it at once. The 60 second limit is a bit annoying, but not that big of a deal.


If anything, make it a donator perk and either remove it, or have it set up like

$5: 45 second wait
$25: 30 second wait
$50: 15 second wait
$100+: none

etc.

 

I do not support.

1) There is no need to send PM's more than every minute.
2) If there are hackings, then the veterans/higher ranked people will be able to mass PM extremely fast.

 

A proper time would be around 30 seconds at the MAX.

 

This is an innate vBulletin feature and we cannot align it with usergroups in any way whatsoever without a fundamental rewrite of a ton of code.

Not going to happen.
