Tell me your emotions after listening to this..

Personally, I almost teared up. This song brought back so many memories.. Saddens me that RS is almost completely different than before.

 

i havnt played runescape in so long, but everytime i listen to that song it just moves me. I know that sounds really nerdish but playing runescape was part of my childhood. I remember thinking how annoying the music in runescape was but i really miss the old music now=(

So many flashbacks and memories of hearing this song, reminds me of 2005 when i was like a level 20-40 main just noobing around, with my mithril/adamant wondering how on earth do you get enough money for full rune, seeing it as a richman's perk. And believing such myths that people in member's worlds get everything cheaper and level faster LOL.

 

gotta admit, 2007-2009 was a pretty good, relaxed time to be in RS.

But yeah, that all ended in late 2010 when jagex got overrun by investors.

Man, I'm really addicted to runescape and this really brings back memories. Good thing I'm almost done with it.

 

eww that was when runescape changed for the worse. honestly runescape died with rsc...

 

I remember those good old days where I actually enjoyed playing.

 

Overrun by investors in 2010?

You do realise shortly after the removal of free trade and the willdy, Both Paul and Andrew Gower had almost completely sold ALL their stocks in the company.

So more realistically you mean when jagex got overrun by investors from 2008 onwards.

 

Wow... I remember I used to look for Runescape piano sheet music and I would play the Lumbridge theme on my piano. Wow... fuck..

Word. Andrew and Paul were both very dedicated to the game, but alas no game survives the pressure of conforming to investors and their need to make the game more "mainstream".

I remember I was killing goblins and it dropped a chiefs hat, I got so excited. I wore that hat for as long as it took me to get enough money for full iron.

Brings back so many forgotten memories this music does. The whole feeling of wonder and excitement I used to get when playing runescape as a child.

do you remember this line: "selling cow hide 100 ea"

 

Omfg cowhide..that was the shit. Remember varrock east bank and running to that guy to mine ess and then running back. And when you first learn how to make your text change. The old wildy where all the rangers just stood behind this fence thing. So many feels...

 

The good years.

 

I miss that old soundtrack...I used to grind goblins on my first accounts. At one time I got a 40gp drop from the goblin, and I got excited, lol. Good times...

 

I've had this on my youtube favorites list for a while now, don't really listen to it, but its nice to hear every so often
