Computer Fan out.

The White Arrow is the main fan and the Red is what is only used now.

Ok so this computer is like 3 years old. The summer I got it I had overheating issues with it, pretty much I kept it on couches and left it on nonstop. After awhile the battery stop working thus why no battery is there ( I ordered a new one a few days ago.) A few days ago the Main fan was making weird noises and just went off for good. Now the red arrow is where air comes out now and only a little comes out. A few hours ago I used a vacum to suck up some of the dust but only dust came out the small vent. I started my laptop up again and it gains a little heat over 5mins. Help?

I have that mind set where " oh that doesn't work oh well atleast the laptop works" I'm lazy.

 

You're going to experience a lot of overheating if it isn't fixed or replaced. My suggestion is to leave it as is and just use the laptop until it breaks, or if you feel up to it, open up the laptop and see what's broken.

 

Actually open up your laptop and clean the fan properly. You may find you need to replace the fan but I suggest buying a Laptop Cooling Mat.

 

Yeah I have one, it's not a great one but even now with it it overheats. I want to open it but I'm scared I might fuck something up.

I replaced the battery yesterday and it was still overheating. Today It was running all day and it's just a little warm.
