I mean Youtube has been a very good platform to grow off of as its popularity spiked tremendously in the past five years, and obviously you can hate him, or his music, but the kid is smart. Him, and his family set themselves up for success, and it's smart they're taking the advantage of the opportunity they have as it's a one in a lifetime. Obviously older people that grew up seeing some of his music (not talking about fans, but just hearing it) would most likely hate it, but he's making money, and having fun doing what he loves, so you can't hate him for that.
