    Lighting Attempt #2

My second attempt to my lighting.. enlightenment... (<<hehe ).

Constructive criticism is quite welcome (based around lighting and realistic lighting effects.. not the actual image) and any advice you think would help me :)

I found forest stock on DeviantArt and I found the Adobe CS4 Master Collection box on google images.

Err, if I'm seeing this right, there should be tons of shadows all over the patch of light there from the sun cutting through the trees.

    Lighting Attempt #2

Well, I'm guessing it's around midday and the sun is more or less at its peak but on an angle. But half of the original lighting must be incorrect itself if your talking about the trees in the background and the position of the the light.

I got the impression that it was midday and there was a gap in the trees so light came through the gap and hit below the tree closest to our focal point but the gap continued towards the back of the image so this is kind of confusing.

TBH, I think this was a failure from the start but I never realized it.

    Thanks though..

The lighting on the box seems to be off. It seems like there is too much shadowing on it.
