my view is that being anonymous is the path of a truer democracy. It's the idea of having a disposable identity.

Why is a disposable identity the base of the proposition?

ego is a parasite that has outgrown our society. An example of ego, would be a child making up a story they find more interesting than the truth. True knowledge is viral. Everyone in power already knows the game of politics - they generally weren't surprised. The only damage these kind of cables do is to their own governments collective EGO, which reduces their power. China is scared of losing power from freedom of information, and in North Korea it is controlled meticulously. The United States government currently controls the flow of information quite well. Julian Asange's idea of a collective whistle blower group causes fear in the USA government because the crimes has exposed are only a small portion of what they have to hide. A large quantity of carefully placed ego-thriving false information is disguised among true information and is used to specifically mislead people.

In politics, the one with the most convincing ego, wins.

You know what's truly fearsome? A country where people are so determined to overthrow anyplace where they feel undermined that they can't possibly see any of the consequences that can follow. They're so blind to the fact that what they're government is actually doing is their job and controlling information is important because why? The average population is so idiotic that they wouldn't be able to actually understand the reasoning behind them not knowing and instead just be angry they didn't know.

The purpose is probably to get across Oxytocin's view on the whole wikileaks and government situation. When in reality this is merely an idea that our government has an ego problem when thats hardly the case.

Also I love how in the video the guy says in the beginning "They are an exact copy of the original"
So let's cut down his interpretation of a "Fraudulent Imitation" or a counterfeit.

Fraudulent- Obtained, done by, or involving deception, esp. criminal deception: "the fraudulent copying of American software".

Imitation-Something derived or copied from an original.

So, the documents on wikileaks were 1.) Obtained by deception since these documents were kept classified meaning someone would have to deceive the government in some way to obtain them. 2.) As the person in the video said, copied from the original.

So based on the oxford dictionary descriptions of "Counterfeit", "fraudulent", and "Imitation" it is therefore understood that documents online representing these classified documents are thus imitations.
(The video only shows the basic extreme situations caused by the Act when in real life these would be looked over simply because of the non-importance.)
