and your effort is noticed, then your heart melts

I just want to share this with you guys as i feel it might be beneficial to you and might improve your day's mood!

Well, for the past few months or so, my junior has been chatting with me on facebook almost daily. He is quite weird in a sense and often starts talking to me about things i am absolutely clueless about ( or have no interest in ). But i respond to him as much as i can, many times just one word replies. I guess he just needed someone to chat with and share his feelings/thoughts.

He would talk to me about his problems. Occassionally, i find myself tired too of hearing other's problems, when i have unsettled problems myself too. But i try my best to reply to him, console him. Sometimes i find it really tiring and draining.

Today he told me he was glad that i chatted with him and said that i was the only one on fb to chat with him and thanked me for it.

Damn, it just melted my heart to see my efforts go noticed ( yes, i am not that noble.. )

So for all of you who have been working hard/helping others, keep it up! Your efforts are noticed by others! Hope this helps

 

That's not apply for me for sure, always hearing others, and helping other persons, and getting relationships to work, and i never received nothing, for helping others, always been like this, i never meet that special person, you know guys? I always cared about others and nothing good happened to me, i'm not ugly, i just need to have better luck, i got good friends, but they never released how i feel, they consider me a good friend, and i'm glad to have good friends, but i need to something more you know?

 

If this had been going on for a long time, then I respect your patience and kindness
Normally, people start to keep distances from others who bother them too much.


But yours might be a rare case; because people also start to see you as a doormat for their problems when you start to listen to every single one of them, and start to think that it's definite that you do so. People start being so thankful after a while.

i felt that way too! but this incident made me realise people still do actually care and are grateful for the effort i put in! So don't be discouraged

In some countries, people refer to people in grades lower and higher than theirs and juniors and seniors respectively.
