I hate my school

So basically, a couple months ago everyone discovered minecraft and starting playing on our laptops during school.
Now im legit, i bought the game, but everyone else has cracked versions.

I made a sweet little cabin, awesome little world i did, all legit, no mods.

Some douche went on my laptop when i was somewhere else and deleted the world.

Next day at school everyone was holding other people down and deleting there minecraft worlds, my question is

Why.

Such a waste of time, its not funny seeing all that work go.

I keep copies of my worlds on flash drives, I recommend you do the same.

your save game is located in you appdata/roaming/.minecraft folder - look here on how to back up

Wow, sounds like you've got some dicks in your school mate. ALWAYS keep back ups, preferably at home where they are safe from bullies at school. Like Wolfdog said, you can back it up onto a flash drive, or a secondary hard drive if your PC has two.

You could possibly get your deleted world back, you would need to use disk recovery software for this which finds and recovers deleted data, however they are not always guaranteed 100% working.

 

Check the recycling bin? I doubt he would've emptied it.

 

Pretty sure he would have checked there before posting here ranting about the bullies in his school.

 

Start > Run

Find the .minecraft folder
In that folder you should see "Save" folder containing your saves. Copy it every time you exit minecraft to somewhere else and paste it back in if it gets deleted.

Yeah, i played minecraft at school b4, and just saved the world on my flashdrive.

No... Minecraft creates a folder for you in the appdata center. As others have said go to Start -> Run -> Type in "%appdata%" then hit the "Ok" first thing in your list should be ".minecraft" click that folder. Click the "Saves" folder.
