Are they mass banning?

just wondering what everyones opinions are about if jagex is mass banning botters at sorcers garden and if its safe to bot there as of now

 

There is a bunch of wanna-be-pmods there, reporting everyone they think is botting. Personally I'm not worried, but it is possible. If you baby-sit the bot, you should be fine.

There are a lot of bans going out now, it could either be wanna be pmod people like he said^. Or they might have improved their system and are catching people more often now.

 

I think they just started to visit mostly botted places like LRC, sw, etc.

 

A lot of wannabe pmods.

 

Yes, there is indeed a 2nd ban wave incoming atm.
I know this because i raise 137 ranks in hunter today without gaining any exp

 

I just got banned yesterday using sorcerers garden bot. I used it twice for about 10 hours each with about a week apart. used it two days and go and now banhammered. GF first character ever made.

 

I'm not sure it's justified to say they ban in waves?

Could just be continuous from here on out?

 

i'm thinking this as well, botting got out of hand, too many people that don't know how to bot are currently being flushed out, and once majority of botters [being complete noobs] are ridden from the game, they should quieten down on the banning, just my theory.

it happened when trade limits where added in, many people will remember the 10k bot ban that occured and was even displayed by Jagex on the front page.

 

they are cracking down on botters in lots of places nowdays, just look at the currently playing number on the homepage, every day it goes lower.

 

Really? I suicide that bot all the time with no bans

 

From what I've seen there are tons of people botting it these days and people are noticing the bots too, so it should be way more likely to get banned for botting it now than a few months ago. I even spotted a 132cb using that shitty RSBot script for it.

 

I'd just say be careful. Baby-sit it and you should be fine.

 

Baby-sit. Bot max 14 hours a day, 10 hour rest...blah blah blah. Botting for 2 months no ban. Used Sorc garden for like 7 days Straight no ban :}

2 Rules in botting

1. Bot safe
2. Bot easy

 

What I think is happening: They're starting to see a pattern in a lot of bots and they're able to trace the pattern back to specific bots. Some might not be banned yet because they're a little harder to see patterns in, but sooner or later Jagex will catch up.

Leave your AutoMiner at Rimmington mining Iron and it does it in a specific pattern every time. If there's another bot there, you're practically doing the same thing with perfect timing.

 

Feel like settling this once and for all.

THEY ARE ALWAYS MASS BANNING. IF THEY FIND A FLAW IN A BOT WHICH GETS YOU IDENTIFIED EASILY, YOU'LL BE BANNED.

24/7 people are being banned.. expect a ban, because you'll get one eventually.

If you don't want a ban, Don't but 24/7.. Be realistic, an account can only play for as long as a normal person would play.

Yes they're mass banning, however Sorc Garden is not a target. Hunter & GDK my friend. Just keep following basic botting tips and you should be fine.

i.e. ;

1. Babysit
2. No more than 12 hours/day. (for non-combat bots)

 

I botted my main to 92 hunter, 99 mining, max combat stats, and a range pure to 90 range and a dclaw pure to 99 str. I use afp for 20 hours+ a day and no ban ever.

 

Soul Wars, GDK, Sorc Garden and Red Chinchompas are the latest mass ban hotspots, along with LRC.

Just bot safely. Maybe install a autotalker?

Autotalkers are pretty easy to find out as well. I think I'd rather take my chances without an autotalker than with one.
