I beleive with some help from sythe members just buying 5 - 10 Dragon Left half sheilds and keeping them banked we could make them a merch item..

There an extremely rare drop..
There Cheap
There's not a massive stock of them..
Lot's of them are used to create a full dragon sqaure sheild Meaning theres a lot less of them.
The total Stock for them isn't high.



If someone thinks this wouldn't work, Please tell me why?
Im not claiming this to be an amazing idea, so don't flame me.. I just want criticism, and some people to tell me if it'd work?

 

To literally make an item act as a currency everyone would have to buy more than 5-10.

 

Total stock for them isnt high? Hilts are very rare and there are tons of godswords, and shield left halves have been out for far longer, horrible item to choose.

 

Left halfs are rarer than hilts, a LOT rarer, your also not taking into account that A LOT of them have been made into dragon sqaures.

@nick, It's a start i'd obvisouly expect people to buy over 5 - 10.. I ment the ordinary player. Since 5 - 10 wouldn't break anyones bank and it's not doing anything wrong.

 

There are a few reasons why this wouldn't work. Left halves were already semi-merched, but nothing came of it. I knew a kid with like 1000 of them, he never sold any for more than mid. Also, there is simply no demand for left halves. If the price starts rising above the price of dragon square, people will just start buying the squares

 

@video - A few flaws with that statement, There was never a demand for Mint cakes apart from the fact that they were hard to obtain. 1000 Left halfs, Isn't enough, We'd need to buy a LOT more. I still beleive it'd work.

 

lol i got 1 as a drop the other day and thought about doing this, it coul easily be done and possbly in the future

 

Jack that's exactly how i thought of it, got one at abby demons, and thought about it haha It defintaly could be done, I'll be buying them up once i have a larger cash pile.

I still think with enough investment, they could be like mintcakes and other junk merching items.

 

I understand where your coming from, think it could work in the long run

 

I believe Mjonalirs (Sp?) would be a better junk item, no?
