Osht. Grades 8/9 in one year

I met up with my principal today and he said he wanted me to take most of the 8th grade classes and all of the 9th grade classes in one school year. Osht. The school i go to lets you work at your own pace, as long as you get it all done by the end of the year. So, my question here is:

Can i do it?

 

You can but I doubt you will be able to be active on sythe then. If you decide to try do it, you can but I suggest you take leave from sythe for a bit to get it done. School is more important.

Well, now being in Year 10 (Tenth Grade), I have to say Year 8 (8th Grade) is piss easy, although Year 9 (Ninth Grade) is a serious killer. I don't know about you guys over in America, but at the end of Year 9 we have our SATs, which are the tests you take before GCSEs (In Year 11, which I think is high school for you).

Last year (7th grade) i did 8th grade science and Pre Algebra because he said i had the capability to. Since i have those 8th grade classes out of the way, he wants me to do the next 2 grades. So that would be 8th/9th grade history, Algebra 1, Biology, and some other ones i didn't listen to

 

8th and 9th grade are incredibly easy, you can do it it will just take
more time, more homework, etc.

You should just give it a try because you really don't get that much homework in 8th Grade.

 

I wouldn't want to do that, I say just enjoy your 8th grade year, cause after that you're gonna be a little fishie so just fuckin ace 8th grade and 9th grade you'll just have to try a little harder.

 

I think you could do it at the beginning, but honestly I believe the stress will get to you, and by mid-year, you'll begin to think you're over your head. You'll have too many assignments to do, too many classes to study for, and generally you'll just be pissed off with your decision, regretting your answer.

I myself, am 13 years old and I'm attending 8th grade, and dead Honest, school sucks dick (I am lazy, so I don't do good in school, but when tests come out I kill em soo good - which is why I'm not in summer school ).

Don't rely on the replies of the sythe members, because although they will support your decision, it doesn't mean they all actually believe you can do it .

I suggest you do it. I went ahead in some of my courses and I am a Junior atm and I can graduate this year and skip my senior year. Or take a VERY easy senior year for free GPA.

 

I'm in 11th grade this year, and to be honest I thought that 9th grade was harder than my 10th grade year. Junior year there is just a shitload of work so far, so I just become a lot busier.

If your smart enough, why not, then you could graduate early. But I put You're fucked, made me laugh.

9th grade was my hardest year of high school. Its different for everyone.
