Why Do people get addictive to World of warcraft?

Like it just some dumb copy repeat of Runescape but horrible. Like They play 24/7, It is really sad some of these teens that play?... Get too attached to The damm game!!.

 

I tried it and it was the most boring game that I have ever played.I got to like level 10 and I quit because the game bored me so much.

 

i played it got to lvl 35 im prolly gonna quit

 

Some people are just bored with their lives and have nothing to do
so they escape through video games like World of Warcraft

 

Good question. I fine the game to be boring and pointless, my friend dropped out of school because this game took over his life.

He is so addictive, that he can't quit and can barley go a day without playing it. Its sad, and I don't understand it. I can quit RuneScape easy, but I can also balance RuneScape with outdoor activities.

 

I play it, I like it but I haven't played for like a month because I don't feel like it so I'm not addicted at all

 

lol i go to say i got addicted to it i still play but not as much becuz no pking i play mabe 1hr a day

I used to be somewhat addicted, but now there isn't a calling to play, but I still do so, nonetheless.

Rofl? WoW a repeat of runescape? You obviously have not played the game...it is 10x better than runescape, and always will be. Hence why the blackmarket in it is so expensive and why the older generation mainly plays it.

Personally i love the game, and can't wait till I have the computer to play it once more. There is a good market in the game if you find the right places, and it can make you pretty good amounts of money, and rather quickly. I dont see why people are addicted though, i mean..you play in your spare time. I have a job, i hang with friends, and at night i would play.

 

Because people need an escape from reality. Those people are generally younger kids who have yet to discover drugs and don't fit it in their schools social cliques.

Conclusion...If you play WoW, you will become a druggie.

The only way to definitively answer the question is to study the human brain and see what about world of warcraft addicts' minds can't get enough of.

In my opinion, it lets people escape reality and do virtually anything without having to worry about consequences or failures.

 

I would have to agree upon that. In a virtual game, you have chances to try whatever you want, over and over again. If you fail, you can do it again. You die? Try again. Ultimately, its a perfect world.

Who cares, majority of the people that play WOW are guys. More guys playing WOW = less guys picking up chicks = more chicks to choose from! lol.
