Spammed my thread 5 times = 5 Infractions.
5 Infractions = 3 day ban

Or do you not get infracted when you constantly call someone a scammer without so much as making a scam report?

Seems kind of odd that someone would go after you so persistently. Only thing that comes to my mind when I see this thread, is that maybe he could have a reason for constantly posting on your thread... Doesn't seem like he's doing it on anyone else, but I dunno, I'd have to look through his posts and I cba to do that atm.

 

I rented him my account, the kid lost his money staking and now he blames me.

 

If you'll notice, I responded to all of those within a few hours of each other. It's really pointless to ban someone for accruing infractions when he didn't have the opportunity to learn from his mistakes.

??? After u deleted his posts he kept posting anyway. And the first report was 11-08-2011 the latest was 11/11/11. That's not a few hours.

I would think he would learn from his mistakes when hes banned (its only 3 days)

 

If it happens again, then you have a right to complain about it. Please don't complain until then. I'm not going to ban someone because he got scammed and was angry about it. There's no proof he didn't get scammed, so, giving him the benefit of the doubt, he's probably pretty mad.

Hypothetically speaking, if that guy was scammed, he seems like a relatively new user (despite his join date), so it's pretty safe to assume he doesn't know how to get proof of it... That's why he can't be infrancted for those posts; not because he's posting without proof, but because a moderator can't assume he was/was not scammed. The most a mod can do is delete the posts.

 

The posts are deleted. You're just making them even more visible to the public by posting the spam reports in the community section. Since the quoted text in the spam report alleges you as a scammer, people are now reading that you are a scammer. The best thing in your situation would be to just stop posting on this (essentially bumping it back to the top) and let it go, at least until he continues to break rules.

 

Since we want to explore hypotheticals. Lets say a rival gold seller makes a new account using a proxy/vpn and then constantly spams your thread with false scam accusations to decrease your trustedness and to make your thread look less appealing thus giving him more business.

You would want nothing to be done to him if that was you T.V.?

How can anyone know that's what the situation is?? Like I keep trying to tell you, a moderator can't reprimand someone over an assumption. Your question has been answered multiple times, I don't know why you continue to try and apply logic where there is none.
