Explanation of the Trade:
It not really a scam but we need help of a sythe moderator:

I reached out to Searchy via Discord to purchase 33B RS3. We agreed to use World 68 Red Portal as the trade method, as we had successfully used this method with Searchy in the past.

From what I understand, Searchy did not have the stock himself and used Xero as a supplier, meaning Searchy acted as a middleman, though we only communicated directly with him.

Once inside the Red Portal, we killed the account that was meant to deliver the gold. However, upon death, the account only dropped 25K GP instead of the expected 33B. The account in question was a level 38, combat level 3, brand new account, which suggests that it was likely trade-limited to 25K GP per trade or death.

According to Searchy and Xero, the account was holding 1320M shards in its inventory at the time of the trade. They also provided a screenshot of this, which will be included in this report.

How It Went:
After the failed delivery, I spoke with Searchy, and he claimed that it was my fault for not receiving the 33B. However, my stance remains that as the buyer, I should receive what I paid for. I paid $594 and only received 25K GP, which is clearly not what was agreed upon.

Ultimately, the responsibility should lie with the seller (or, in this case, his supplier), not the customer. I fulfilled my end of the deal, yet I did not receive the agreed-upon amount of gold.

I disagree, your cashiers wanted this method of xfer and we fulfilled it



If you traded it, like we always persuade people to do then it avoid risks then this issue wouldn't of happened

Although theres no explanation to why 1320m shards turned into gp it's not for us to know every game mechanic to why it would of and you should of let us know what issues could cause shards to turn to 25k prior to searchy having me enterring red portal

 

Just would like to point out that it was done in a members world, so there shouldn't be a trade limit.

Also, you were the one who wanted to do a red portal trade, not us. So I don't see why you want to hold us accountable after things went wrong.
