Explanation of the trade: I was to pay him $1050 (a little less due to BTC fees) for a Green phat. I had $600 in BTC at the time and was going to add 2.147B RS3GP to even the trade, then purchase my gold back once I received more BTC. I would send $300 first, then I would trade him the 2.147B in game for the Green phat, then pay him the remaining $300.

How they scammed: After I sent $300 via BTC he did not reply for over half an hour, then he claimed to be too scared to complete the trade, offering to send back the BTC that I paid him. I attempted to complete the trade but he kept making excuses and requested for me to send more BTC to him before he would complete the trade, to which I refused. Eventually I gave up on completing the trade and accepted his offer to receive the BTC back. After that, he only sent one reply which seemingly claimed to have sent me the BTC back, but it never showed up in my wallet.

Initially I thought my BTC would come through immediately so I could pay the full amount in BTC, but it wouldn't have deposited into my account for almost a week (can provide proof of this too from Coinbase), and that is when we agreed to use 2.147B as a placeholder until it came through)

(These 2 screenshots are the last of the conversation we had, he wouldn't prove he owned a Green phat in-game and this was the last straw that caused me to cancel. I gave him an address to send the money back to and then he sent a cryptic reply that seemed to imply he paid me back, but I never received payment in my BTC wallet (can provide proof of this))
