Legacy accounts - unregistered account question

I'd just like to know what would happen if a legacy account (old style account) gets locked and it doesn't have a registered email because it was never verified/confirmed. Would the password reset link be sent to the login email or would it be necessary to do a manual recovery because the account didn't have any registed email?

And what about membership purchase? Does the account also need to have a registered email to buy membership on the website? Thanks.

I believe the link would get sent to the unconfirmed email because Jagex will still send a initial email to verify even when not verified yet. To answer your 2nd question, yes once you click on your account page it will make you enter a email to proceed

the verification email that is sent when the acc is created (on old style accounts)?

and in order to buy membership on the OSRS website (with old style accs) the account would need to have a registered email?
