List of BANNED persons and reasons.

I think personally there should be a place with a list, where you can look up a user, or look in the list, to see who got banned and why. As members of sythe, I think we deserve to know who is safe, and who is not, and what they got banned for. Some people I have added on MSN, and I would like to know if I should think twice about talking with them.

Reasons:

1 - Allows us to see safe and not safe.
2 - Gives us examples of exactly what not to do and how you ban them.
3 - I saw this on another forum targeted for an older, more intelligent audience, and it worked well.

Rules:
1 - No one may reply.
2 - No one may make a thread or etc. questioning the ban or commenting.


It would be meant for REFERENCE ONLY.

Anyone with suggestions etc. just shoot em up. If there good, I'll add em up there with my own and give credit where due.

 

yeah, i agree, this is an awesome idea.

 

I assume the ban list is huge... Plus making a thread that gives ban reasons and such would take a lot of effort on the part of the person that perm bans them...

It would take too much work for a few people really...

 

Maybe a script could be made to check if your banned - Not something apart of the forums just like an external thing..

 

I think starting with just a ban list would be good, but the reasons may take some time. But I think this is a good Idea to check up accounts, email, ect.

It would be extremely hard to manage MSN list of scammers. I support though

 

Its gona be hard, but if its organized like the "member list" make it like ban list and change post counts or w/e to ban reason it might be good.

 

Is it really that hard to donate one or two mods to this task? I think that this is important enough for it to be considered, this IS for the safety of Sythe members. And we would NEED the reason, just a brief explanation, not some dragged out bs story. The reason is half the point of the list. Someone bans someone they can either post it in this thread, or put it somewhere the mods of the list can view it and stick it it.

Like I said I think this could be important and useful enough to give it a thought.
