What is LoL like?

Few mates play it and are trying to get me into the LoL scene, most people have said it's a good game but some have said it's awful.

Whats your guys opinions? Is it fast-paced and exciting providing challenges?

It's most likely not a game for EVERYONE but it is fun, It's somewhat like an RTS if you don't really know the game at all. games are usually 5v5 or 3v3. Every game you start at level one and kill minions and hopefully champions to get money to buy better stuff, Max level is 18. Goal is to destroy enemy Nexus. You get XP for the meta-game from regular games and such. Just try it, if you don't like it don't play

 

It's similar to other MOBA style games like HoN and Dota. It's basically a tower defense game. I find it to be a great game, you should check it out!

 

Well, it may be a "Tower defense game" in a sense but that's also a name for a game where it's COMPLETELY different since tower defense games are where you build towers to kill creeps from getting to your end point where you lose lives
