    To South Carolina, Fort Jackson for Army Boot Camp anyone else around here going then?

    Leaving for boot camp Feb 12th.

    You're character is going to change... basically this camp is going to reform you as a person.

    My friend went to a military camp, and he changed a lot. He stopped many bad previous habits that he use to do, for example smoking weed, stealing, disrespecting people, etc. He told me it was a great experience, but also very hard to do because you don't get to see your family very often.

    Isn't bootcamp really like hard and demanding i mean like in a bad way i saw something on the history channel before i think where they said a bootcamp officer broke a chair on a guys back and injured him for not doing enough pushhups :eek: , None the less Best of luck to you and hope you enjoy your stay ^_^

    No, this is basic training which everyone in the military has to go through. What you watched is probably 2 weeks in hell where they show the training programs for elite branches of the military.
