Learning Java For Rsbuddy Scripting

Hey over the summer ill be attempting to learn how to script to the ability of being able to create a moderate script.

Do you guys have any resources or tips to help me on my journey?

and if you have done this, how hard is it?

Although, the Java community on Sythe is very inactive. I'd suggest trying to learn the very basics of Java first so you can at least read through other peoples code. This will give you an idea of what exactly a script entails. If programming is intuitive to you, you can pretty much take other peoples code and make it do what you want.

From my experience, scripters are not good Java programmers, although understanding good programming principles will make you program better scripts.

Basically, I'd suggest you start with finding some scripts to read through, what you don't understand, try and research. It's actually very basic as long as you understand the client that you're writing it for.
