Learn To Customize Your Desktop Icons

Alright, in this tutorial you will be learning how to change the icon of a file, and how to make it your own icon, rather than the default ones.

Please note that since my computer is Vista, it might be different for you, or might not. It probably won't, but please just take notice of this.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
Firstly, go to a site like these.
    http://www.wincustomize.com/
    http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2007/11/29/icons-for-your-desktop-and-icons-for-your-web-designs/
    http://www.jordan-michael.com/clienticons.html
    http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2007/05/24/freebies-round-up-icons-buttons-and-templates/

It will redirect you to a site where you can download a pack of new icons.

Second, Download them and put them somewhere you'll remember. For me, it'll be the desktop.

Third, extract it, and find the ICO file, or the icon file.

Fourth, Right click the folder you want to change the icon of, and go to Properties > Customize > Change Icon
Click on it, and click on browse and find the ICO file you downloaded and choose the one you want the icon to be.

Fifth, Go back to the Customize tab on the properties of the folder where you changed the icon, and where it says Folder Picture, click on choose file, and choose the same icon you chose for the fourth step.

Yay, you just learned how to change icons!
