Wanted to preface this by saying i'm not trying to dispute this at all. I did gravedig and so it was deserved. My issue is that the thread in question was literally the third thread down on the first page of the section (sorted from newest to oldest of course).

I understand that by the date of the thread it was gravedigging, but it was still on the front page of the section, even in the first five results. Isn't there something to be said about that?

On top of that, it is not as if it was irrelevant, outdated information. For some reason after I posted, multiple others did as well and thus spawned and fairly good thread discussion.

 

Sounds like something only a fucking nutcase would do. Why would you lock, delete, and infract threads when there's no activity. That seems really weird.

 

I wouldn't have infracted for that - it's really only used when the thread holds no relevance/discussion or is outdated. It's just a warning so reversing it is pointless, I'll make sure with the mod that placed it that they understand when it's supposed to be used though, thanks

Yeah, it wasn't an infraction. Only a warning. I was just trying to say that there's a difference between say, posting on a thread about RWT trading methods when trade limits were in place (something very outdated) and posting on a thread about building vouches (which is always relevant).
