A C4D Sig I am satisfied with

I personally don't like the flare in the middle, but that's me.

 

I love this. It's so interesting and bizarre at the same time, and a nice deviation from the other c4d tag styles around lately. Very cool work mate.

Definitely digging this. Like spray said, it manages to keep with the medium of popular 3d sigs while straying away from the repetitive style they tend to hold. Keep it up man

I like it. A lot of the sigs here are pretty basic but this looks really unique

 

I am not a fan of this at all...it is too busy, the text doesn't stick out enough..the font was a terrible choice and the whole background seems bad IMO Doesn't seem like there is a focal point at all, where am I supposed to be looking at?

Sorry, but I am not a fan of this..but you'll just ignore this post and go by everyone else loving it...so, have fun with the new tag!

 

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. It's a different style then what everyone is used to, so I didn't expect everyone to like it because of the creative elements.

 

but it's not really like I don't like it because of the "creative elements"...i mean I have seen A LOT of tags like this..i mean a LOT...but this one just doesn't hit home for me..

I like when people do new and creative things, this is not new and creative..it's been around for a long time..


Like I thought though, you will ignore my post and go by what the people who like it will say...You will write off my posts as some one who either doesn't know design or someone who doesn't see the awesome newness of this tag when it is in the same design as people have been doing since before computer graphics were around.

also, as an example..my tag is garbage...it is a different take on the common graphics found on this site...which is why I did it...but it is still garbage...That doesn't mean anything, people might like it, they might hate it...who cares

 

You care to explain why you didn't like it, you said that the background sucks - why does it suck? You pointed out that the text doesn't stand out - why doesn't it stand out? How is it too busy? You point out potential flaws but never follow through on the critique.

Also, I am fairly certain people didn't make forum signatures before computer graphics so I don't think it's "in the same design as people have been doing since before computer graphics were around"

Are you still holding a grudge from the time I called you out on trying to sell lessons on stuff you can get for free? I was a dick that time and there was no excuse for it, but there is on reason you should hold a grudge over something silly like that.

I'd like to see more sigs like these... all I see is garbage sigs like yours in all honesty

The Background seems really interesting, however, the top edge either needs erasing or blurring, you can see that it is sharp as if it was the edge of the Photoshop document (Which it probably was ).

Also, the text is slightly messy, it takes a while to read. I see why you chose it though, it really fits the style of the tag, but just in general ^.^

For the most part, I like to see the creativity and change. I don't think I've seen many, if any of these on Sythe. Good job man

 

Are you serious? Ever seen wallpapers and such? It's basically the same "style"...people made designs and things before computer graphics..which is what I am saying...

Also, I forgot completely about you "calling me out" about anything...So jno, I am not holding a grudge..i am just calling it as I see it...

As for criticism...ok, here it goes...

Text is not sharp enough..the font type I don't really like...The clipping masked circles, just stick out and don't look that good, neither do the lines IMO...the border of the whole thing looks sloppy and the whole thing just seems like a big mass...Plus all the other constructive crits I gave in my first comment...

See if you can add a much deeper and softer shadowing behind the text onto the wall, adding to the drop shadow that's already there Warp the flatness of the background pattern a little bit as well - maybe use a wave/flag warp preset on it.
I do very much like the text elements as well - as you removed the lighting that was in the original, you could possibly create a much softer and slight lightsource in the top left?
