No Rules Forum

How about it? It would not be open to the public but would be invite only OR you would have to be active on the forum for X days to view it OR you have to opt-in to view it?

Rules:
Racism is allowed
Porn is allowed
Gore is allowed
Flaming, of anyone, is allowed
Admin's can not infract anyone unless they break the specific forum rule(s)

No:
Spamming
CP
Links to torrents/file sharing

In other words, you enjoy all the freedoms you have IRL, in this forum.

Hmm. If people were prepared to verify their age of 18+ then maybe. I just don't think it'd be that active. Richard has stated in the past this won't happen though.

Like I said, it is not viewable without an account no matter what and you have to be invited or opt-ed in.

If you opt-in, then you have to agree your 18+ blah blah blah. Or it can just be invite only.

I know but I just think the rules are too soft. I still can not exercise free speech in the forum or post nudity of any sorts. Doesn't really seem like a spam forum.

It would be very easy for someone to register over the age of 18 because they are adults.

 

I meant if porn were to be allowed here then people who register have to be 18+. However if its just a section then people should only verify their age to be 18+ to view that section only.

And I mean actually produce some documentation for an admin or someone to verify their are over 18.

A quick disclaimer would more than cover sythe legally. That anything posted is user uploaded and if there is a violation to contact [email protected] for example. Also to enter you must state that you are 18.

The last part of what you said isn't necessary. Require documentation, you must be joking? How do you think porn sites exist? (If anything) all they have is a check box to state that you are 18+

That came off a bit rude I apologize. But there is still lawsuits written all over it you would have no way to prove someone is over 18.

 

Absolutely not. I would leave sythe if this were implemented, that's definitely not the type of crowd I'd EVER want to attract here. Besides, it'll never happen, pornography is a legal battle Richard would never find himself fighting for.

You aren't "showing porn to minors" ...

Clearly you would be required to state that you are over the age of 18 before entering the forum. Any law suit would have no ground as the user agreed that he/she was over the age of 18. This is what every adult websites does.

By the way I'm not necessarily even supporting the idea. I'm just saying that you shouldn't post regarding the legality of it when you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.(This is speaking to everyone)

Well this forum would NOT be open to the public/new members. More along the lines of invite only or have certain requirements so no one would be coming to this site specifically for this forum. In fact, most members will no idea of its existence let alone know what goes on in it.

According to the do not suggest list "porn section" which would include this therefore it shouldn't even be allowed to be debated over.
