2$ membs?

im told u can extend trial accounts for 2$, how do i do this?

 

You have to subscribe via credit card.

 

i went into the account stuff, looked at the extend membs menus and it still said 8$.

ps. it gave me a mystery cracker with the account?

 

Last time I had a trial account, near the end of its trial a screen should come up in game announcing the $2 membership, perhaps you can only do it once this screen has come up?

I was able to do it on my trial accounts using paypal.
The screen popped up after just a few days (or maybe it was 7?) and you just follow the prompts.
But someone said earlier you have to use credit card? I used paypal. Recently.

 

With paypal did you only pay $2?

On the screen that popped up for me it claimed that credit card was 75% off ($2) and that paypal was 50% off ($4)

 

If i remember correctly i paid something like $2.37 or $2.19 -- perhaps due to currency i'm not sure.

 

I'm pretty sure you have to wait until the screen pops up, as if the screen hasn't popped up, you're just viewing the normal membership screen.

You've had to have made the account via the Refer a Friend offer. If it's made through RaF, you can extend the membership via credit card (I'm not certain about other methods) for around $2. I've done this multiple times for the 10% bonus exp week, found it very worth it.

Use the link you're provided with in the Refer a Friend screen on the main website (while logged in to your main account) then simply run through the account creation process as if you were a new player to RS (use a different email, pick a name, etc).

You don't have to wait for any pop-up screen or anything like that, I've upgraded without having gone through the tutorial on the account.

Not that is if you want to get free membership for your main. They offer this to all trial accounts. You get 14 days of free membership and then a huge discount on your first month's membs.

 

Its only offered like the 2nd day of the free trial

 

I got my $2 mem on 3 accounts about a minute after making them using paypal.
