Kinda new to Signatures [Rate it] Give me advice!

I don't really like Signatures with characters and stuff I like abstract stuff.
Please tell me some things I can do to make it better.

 

Hm if your new, not bad. But if your going for an abstract theme, don't use this grain effect on yours. And the font looks a little to rigid. Use a nice, elegant font. As for the color, I think it would be better if you used a nice, light blue. Like the one on sythe's new theme. #608DB9. As for the design, I think you should make different. This is basically blue camouflage imo. If you search on google, you'll see that LOT's of abstract art are 'swirly'. Not all, but a majority of them. Try to copy that. I think a combination of different colors is what really attracts the human eye. But don't use dull colors like the blue in yours.
Search on google, deviantart, and other sites and see what other people do. Nothing's wrong with copying in graphics! (Unless you copy and paste, then it becomes a matter).

This image is very popular because I've seen it A LOT! Look at the nice colors. The sparely effect on top of the lines or whatever. A general direction is what you want. Not chaotic lines going everywhere. But also not a straight line. Try to make it flow all together.

Try out different Filters and layer 'Blending' Options.

 

I think you need to turn your text onto smooth not sharp unless you want it to look like that.
