I noticed that users are allow to put up to 2.5 MB in images?!

That's 5 seconds with my internet connection and I'm sure more than 10 for some users.

Please tell people to use lossless compressed images in png.

We don't want a slow website.

 

It's a rule mainly aimed at GIFs.

This rule was actually put in place because there are lots of signatures on this forum that are OVER 2.5. It was starting to become unbearable when doing spam reports and scam reports because scrolling would become hard. I'm sure if there are still problems at 2.5 it will go down further.

 

then i think those who paid money for a gif sig deserve a refund or a new sig.

 

No one told anyone to buy a .gif sig.. So why should they be refunded? I don't have one? I chose not to, no one made me.

Well never the less, no one told you to buy a sig so. Your problem, not anyone else's. Aswell as that, why would the sig maker refund you for work he has completed?

 

this rule isn't really smart you're taking away things people PAYED for.

 

If sythe staff wants to take away a players privilagefor there own benefit they should compensate towards the lost players have.

 

I disagree about that, sythe cannot afford to refund the signatures. The restriction although it may be inconvenient does better sythe services in the long run. Just a quick question I'm on my phone and not sure of the size of my signature could anyone tell me?
