Black Ops thread

I figured I could see what Sythe thinks of Black Ops so far.

The game has potential. All of these new additions are cool, but whether they function or not is crucial. No more god-tier assault rifles, idle sway and recoil make a long-overdue return, and the maps are less vertically-oriented. My hopes are up. I'm hoping it's at the very least better than MW2.

Looks great, and I'm loving the Mp5k from what I've seen so far.

BUT THE FUCKING TUBES ARE BACK.
The flamethrower sucks, it's just going to be a nuisance. Wager match seems awesome.
Crossbow is badass, also saw a semi-automatic rocket launcher with 4 rounds, that is going to be hell.

 

might be back to cod4 or 5 when it comes out.. not much to look foward too because i fail to see zombies in the game once again.

 

Meh , I hope its better than MW2.
Mw2 was fun but too easy.
Kill streaks were overpowered.
Looks like we need SKill in CODBO.

 

Well, with no Stopping Power or Juggernaut, there are no perks to modify bullet damage. Idle sway and recoil make a welcome return.

Gunskill will be more prevalent in Black Ops for sure. Killstreaks might be as good, maybe a little worse, as they were in MW2 but now they don't stack. You gotta work for the tough ones now.

Grenade launchers are always gonna return... ALWAYS. The Flamethrower is fucking hilarious though.

Not a big fan of the M-#-goes-here Grim Reaper 4-rocket-shooting Launcher. That or the Minigun. Absolutely unnecessary.

 

It think it could be okay. I will probably end up buying it but only after I see some reviews. I am way more interested in Halo Reach.

 

Didn't they confirm zombies in it?

I was watching gameplay and Wager Matches looked like my thing. Especially the gungame and the one with the one bullet, kinda reminds me of Michael Myers in a way

 

*sigh* Not only is chopper gunner back, but it launches rockets too!

I wish 3-5-7 would return. All these clusterfuck kill-streak things are annoying as hell.

 

I'm more excited for all the new ffa gametypes.

Does anyone know if there gonna allow 2 player online yet? I'm sick of this 1 player only.

 

I KNOW! I hate it when I have friends over and we want to play live like halo but we can't because cod is lame.

 

Exactly, We at one time had 3 xbox's in my room playin together because we couldn't be on same xbox. It's rubbish. They'd sell so many more copys if they did that.

 

I would deffinnately buy it if they have multiplay online.. Would be awesome

 

Amazing game is amazing. It will do well regardless of your thoughts.

 

The game will beat all other CoDs.
It has improved EVERYTHING I hated about MW2.

Honestly this game looks like trash.
A fucking toy remote car? I thought this game was supposed to be 17+ they are appealing to all the 9 year old fags who play this game. The crossbow pisses me off, and the wager matches will be boosting heaven.
Basically Modern Warfare 2 + halo 3 theater mode.
It will never be like CoD 4

Killstreak kills do not add up to new killstreaks. So no more calling in a chopper and waiting for your next streak.

Flak Jacket perk is the ultimate counter to a noob tube. You can be shot in the face by one and live. The max damage an explosive can do to you is 75.

Tomahawk instead of a throwing knife, and if you hit someone in the hand IT DOES NOT KILL THEM.

Sounds like a win
