Just wanted to know which CPU is better for gaming if I am going to get a graphics card, I'm not going to depend on a intel HD Family..
    Thanks in advance

Well remember that the "k" means it's an unlocked processor. If you are going to overclock, you defiantly want to go with a "k" series processer.

    /thread x2

    I'll explain why.
i7s are a complete waste for GAMING, editting is different, but if you're only gaming get an i5. Hyperthreading is useless in games.

OK, but again, I wanted to know which is better out of the i7 3770k and the i7 3820 because my friend got 3770k and another one got 3820 and they both keep fighting about which one is better..

Just to let you know, the 3770k is a complete waste of money when it comes to gaming. It is basically a 3570k with hyperthreading enabled. Meaning that it is more useful when it comes to photoshop and video editing. Between the 3770k and the 3820 the 3770k will be better.

    see here:

However i'd still go with the 3570k.

Both youknowwho and noodles are spot on, for gaming...youre wasting your hard earned money on either of them. Take it for what it's worth. Save the money, put it towards your gpu....or perhaps towards something that will better enable you for future mods...like water cooling or something. Then overclock that beast into new territory.

    Thanks for your opinion,
When I get a new PC I want to get one for like 1.5k$ and it's gonna be without a graphics card..
Because, I will get an i7 3770k (I will maybe do some Photoshop, so it's worth it, I guess) and it has integrated GPU and will buy a GPU after a while :D

wow 1.5k on a comp. with no gfx card, that might be tought to do... lol.

if u dont mind me asking on here, is the other i7 (noth the 3770k, i dont remember the number for it, 38something (38xx) ) better for multi botting runescape?? the reason i ask is cus it supports quad channel ram when the 3770k ionly does dual

    i7 3770K vs. i7 3820

I don't guess there's a difference.. By the way, it's called i7-3820 and for botting I guess both are same
For gaming, i7 3770k is better, overclockable with a GPU in it already

Also, if a processor is dual channel memory and I get 16 GB of G.Skill (4x4GB) what's gonna happen? lol? I don't really understand this point and for a comparison of the i7 3770k and i7 3820 look at these links:

think of memory like a highway, 1 channel is a normal highway, dual channel a a normal highway x2. whjat happens when the highway gets packed? traffic jam, the dual highway (4 lanes instead of 2) unjams traffic (more gets in and out, its like that).

honestly i think in the long run it would be better for botting, i supports up to 64gb ram, instead of 32, and up to quad channel, with is faster then 90-95% of computers out there today (most are single or dual channel).....(something like that, i myself have never seen anything with quad channel other than alienware).
