It's not. Sythe is more addicting than runescape.

Just give away all your shit, and get your character banned. Then find something else decent to do, and you will forget about runescape.

200m xp in all stats.
Every quest done.
You can always strive for more.
Such as owning EVERY rare in the game.
I think It's also got alot to do with ego's [ Especailly when it comes to pking , items owned ]

 

Its "addictive" because little kids don't realise how much time they waste during the "challenge" of getting to level 126.

 

The reason Runescape is so addictive is because kids who play it or grown ups are trying to accomplish something like getting a certain magic level or getting their dream stats.
