I'm inclined to believe that it wasn't created for a noble purpose but to capitalize on the fact that most young people - its target audience - have no real knowlege of anything that has taken place within the past few decades, will not read further into information they are given and will thus spread it around as much as possible to seem like they are making a difference.

I haven't laughed that hard in such a long time- thank you for this.

After watching this- I can't even begin to take this campaign seriously.
I wasn't a fan from the start- because I believe charity work doesn't end at writing a cheque. But within 24 hours of hearing about Kony 2012- I heard about the guy who runs it, going full-pervert in public.

Kony also contributes some of its money directly to the ugandan army. The ugandan army is almost as bad as Kony was at his height of power. The whole ugandan government corrupt is hyper corrupt/violent.
