is it a good idea to invest in santas?

started playing again. i stopped in 06 or 07 and santas were like 25m. are blue masks and santas a good investment? will they reach like 100m in maybe 2-3 years? will they ever be what party hats are now?

i would say YES YES YES

 

Aren't the rare items whose amount can only "decrease" bound to have a gradual rise in price? Over time, when more and more Santa hats end up with players who either have no intention of selling them, quit or are banned. But this could of course take several years, perhaps even decades!

 

i dont think they will ever rise to 100M, but u can invest like... buy a few in say july and sell in december/january

Yeah they'l raise adventually, but with the economy being thrown around by jagex's useless updates it could take years and years, if your quitting or something for a long time though always a good idea to spend all your gp on the cheapest rares, green masks n santas.

they wont crash, they might lower in price but then they will come back up... rares are like land they will only increase in value. its a safe investment

 

I doubt santas will ever compare to party hats. Masks are sort of unstable at the moment, so i would suggest waiting before you invest.
