Multiple logging in & bans.

Ok im just curious here, atm using 2 of my own characters of same level on a low populated world, they are targets basically 100% of the time, im just worried since it's supposedly against rules still(multiple logging in that is).

I tought that people here on the rs section would now. Any info about multiple logging in & getting banned would be appreciated. And, wether the ban(s) were/are permanent or not.

Don't worry about it, I've multi-logged for years without a ban.
+ multiple accounts botting on 1 IP.

If you multi log in different worlds, it is fine.

Though, multi logging in the same world and using each account to attack each other is risky. But I have never been banned for multi log in (even for the same world).

 

I multi log into the same world to give myself 76k's every now and again. never been banned. one time i was standing at varrock west with 2 characters i had multi logged in. some noob and his friend went up and reported me for it but i never got a ban. I have also never seen or heard of a ban for multi logging

yeah multi logging is against the rules but its not a bannable offense. its only worth like .9 of a blackmark

Just don't log in with both accounts signed in.

Being signed in means that your comp saves the data to make the game run faster.

If you are playing signed out, it meants that your computer is not saving anything about the game therefor Jagex can't tell if you are playing or not on the same IP.

If you are using bots I suggest not using signed for both, as stated above. I haven't multi-logged recently but I don't think it should be a problem, there is always the argument that someone else on the same IP is playing rs.
