I think it would look better if you blurred just to the left of the head and made the light source look better.

I just love the way it looks.

 

I enjoy the style, but on the bottom right, why is that object so focused? There isn't really anything wrong with it, I suppose, but it has no relevance to the rest of the work, and the work still tells no story.

Ways to improve: Try a focus blur, and to try to show his aspirations with the work in the future. I know it's not your style, but if you can do both, tings will go well with you.

All I can think of that hasn't been pointed out already - bottom of his left shoulder (well, our left) could benefit from following it's shape a little further... if this makes any sense, you should reduce the blur of it slightly and extend it a tad.
Even if it's not his shoulder, just the colouring from his shoulder smudged out a little bit more.

 

C4ds, the contrast/shadow colour changing, then bubble c4d on linear dodge/lighten.

I get what you mean, but his shoulder's actually fucked, so I had to clone brush over it once the general tag was made.

Absolutely Tribal. Why not make a tag that has all the elements of a story in it? Though it seems difficult initially, you will get much more emotion out of a school kid, if the teacher is yelling at him, out of focus in the background.

To be honest, I am not fond of the tag.

Before I receive flaming for trying to critique you, please allow me to explain.

1. Monochromatic - I see a main color theme within a sig good, it feels as if there is only 3 colors within this sig. Red, Yellow, Black.

2. Effects - The effects to me are very minute, because they are too blended into the background.

3. The size - I know people have preferences to size (mine is 400 X 175) but I find it too small, which causes eye strain when I am trying to admire effects.

In general: The lighting is overdone and the left shoulder is blended too much.

This is just my personal opinion, I know everyone has different styles. Mines sucks to some but others enjoy it. It is all opinion.

With the colour scheme I slightly agree, though I tried to accentuate the focal with colour, to drag attention away from the monotony of the background.

The left shoulder isn't blended, it's like, cropped out since it's in an awkward shape.

With the size, it's all subjective I guess, so thank you for your opinion

That one general color being Red.

If I need to spell it out I will, red being listed first because of the fact that it is the general color over the sig. Burgundy, to be correct - Burgundy being a purplish shade of red.

he said the tag was red, yellow and black.

so give it a rest, kid.

 

also by those standards, your tag is also monochromatic: blue being the "general colour" and puple being a reddish shade of blue.
