If you go to free world 1-5 in lumbridge you will find lots of people like him.

They actually make pretty good money.

If they can carry on 5 conversations at the same time, and they get a guy who will pay him 100k every 30 minutes on each conversation thread that is 1mil per hour. Not bad for a f2p player with no skills and a lot more fun for him than grinding skills over and over.
