Kevin Ward vs. Tony Stewart

Kevin Ward Jr. lost his life after being struck by the sprint car driven by Tony Stewart. Everyone has their own opinion on what they think happened. The video is on YouTube if you want to see it. It’s only 1 minute long and some people want to make a judgment without having all the facts.

Regardless of the outcome Kevin Ward lost his life and what ever the outcome may be it's a sad situation. But some of the comments on the video calling out Tony are simply baffling!

I am not a Tony Stewart fan, honestly I think he is quite irritating with his attitude, nevertheless I am completely siding with him on this whole deal.

Drivers are STRICTLY instructed to remain in your vehicle until emergency personnel arrive.

A sprint car is a direct drive race car. They need to be push-started to run and once they’re running, there isn’t a clutch or automatic transmission to slow way down or come to a stop without needing to be push-started again. Sprint cars need to be moving at 25 to 35 mph to stay running. He couldn't just slam on the brakes like you can in your car at home..

I feel as if Tony wasn't even aware of Kevin's displeasure with him and didn't expect it to happen at all. I have to side with Tony on this one.. Your Thoughts?

Kevin Ward was a DUMBASS for getting pissy and jumping out of his car in the middle of a high speed race. It being a dirt track stopping would of been a miraculous feat.

Sucks that he is dead but it is his own fault.

 

I didn't know print cars needed to be push started like that. That's interesting. He should of never got out of the car although I understand his frustration.
