    Paypal question

Chargebacks are when they try and get their money back, even if the trade went good.

They go to file a dispute, and tell paypal some bullshit, such as not getting something, etc.

It's a very common thing for a person to pay well for something, then ask for a chargeback.

Unless the seller can provide substantial proof, the odds of them winning are decent. That's why many people don't like to do larger trades with paypal :)

If there's a note included saying the trade went well etc, and it was sent from their home IP, they have a REALLY low chance of winning a chargeback, otherwise, just hope you have enough proof, even a link to sythe threads saying VOUCH BOUGHT _____ FROM _____, Thanks :) With an MSN log picture uploaded to paypal, & possibly them confirming their paypal email VIA pm could help.

Despite the sender sending the payment as a "gift", it doesn't change anything and they can still recover the payment, just letting you know.

If they also put something along the lines of "Already received the virtual goods before sending payment", they can also recover the payment.

They can, but it lowers the chances of it, and with enough proof you tend to win the paypal dispute, I've had over 10 - 20 people dispute many trades, and I've only lost one, and that's one that I had no proof for.

If it was a legit sale, you almost always win :)

And sorry, meant to put Payment Owed >.<

    Paypal question

Although Paypal states (is that the correct spelling) that they do not cover virtual goods so its a lost attempt for them.
