Guys what's the most important language to learn?

Other than English I've just told myself I'm going to pursue learning another language. I can already speak French and a little bit of deutch but those are useless.

I was thinking maybe Arabic but I don't want police monitoring my PC LOL

Japanese because it's much more managable, and much easier to read. All you'd have to do is learn Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji and you're set for speaking. It sahoudl take you about a year to become fluent if you're dedicated.

I would say Spanish or Chinese (Mandarin) as they are very common languages in the world, and learning them would be useful.

 

I think you should learn Arabic because there is alot of people who talks Arabic and if your going on vacation in like Egypt or Dubai, then you will be able to talk to everyone there.

Japanese is way cooler than arabic and so much technology originates from Japan that'd itd be a useful internet language.

And chinese is a rapid breath-stealing language that is almost impossible for outsiders to truly grasp.

If you live in America, its spanish for sure.

With the vast amount of foreigners that speak spanish that we are recieving, legally or illegally, its the most useful.

Arabic or Japanese? Unless your moving to Japan/an area that speaks arabic, its just making you look like some major anime fanboy or something lol.

It all depends on where you live / are going to move.

And dont be like " Oh im gonna move to japan and learn japanese cuz i love their anime ! "

 

It doesn't depend on where you're going. It matters by preference alone. I chose Japanese over everything else not because I like anime, but because the language appealed to me. I love Japanese. I can communicate with millions of other people who are Japanese. And since I'm in Japan right now, I have no problem navigating.


But I guess it's a bonus being able to watch anime without subs.
