    Someone in my family died and they game me their ipad. but its locked how do i completely erase it and make it so its new they didn't want any of the stuff off of it i tryed to reset it it says i need the original owner to unlock it i wana get past that and doo a total reset.

    Not necessarily, I managed to reset my iPad when I accidently forgot the pass code. Just google search how to and it should give you a step by step guide
