i love the abstract feel, textures a bit off, but great idea

 

i dont like that you just copy and pasted the same shape for most of the islands and the composition is a little off.

also the lighting is weird

 

^My only qualm as well, no opinion on the lighting, it gives it an ethreal feel I think so it's not bad in my eyes. Back to the repetitive use of the same shape, you should have put a bit more time into creating a variety of shapes. I can imagine you probably felt is was unnecessary to spend so much time on a practice image, but then you shouldn't share it unless you want to get the usual level of feedback c;

 

oh and it looks flat work on the depth.

the composition is really bad lol my eyes keep going to the bottom where the hole is and where the tips of the islands are.

 

This is the first time I've ever done something like this, so I appreciate any feedback I can get.
I just made this to practise and see what I could make, I personally like the outcome, I do appreciate the comments though

 

Its... "FUNKY" lol. Its so weird I cant describe it. However, I really like the "weirdness" because of the fact that its unique.

 

This, it genuinely looks better when there's more elements - try to learn how to maximise time in making elements instead

The wierd block things have really shitty perspective, and it would be good if you did more work on the rest of it the way you did for the top of the islands. Even if it's a mostly vector work I think it'd be nice if you painted all the textures - most importantly the islands themselves. the bottom half of the small islands floating above are really annoying in particular.
Overall some good work but I'd like to see it reworked
