Just got scammed on discord, anything I can do now?

    Just got scammed on discord, anything I can do now?
    I was just scammed 575m from an imposter of @Limiq. His discord is Limiq#5555 and the scammer had the discord username limiq#5555. I sent 575m without asking for a PM stupidly and then he blocked me and never sent the btc. Is there anything I can do now or am I burnt?

    Hey there @x ski11ed x,

    Your best bet is to make a scam report out there for reference in-case this user has a Sythe account, or in the case someone deals with this user in the future and has the potential to anti-scam the user to have the money returned to you (highly unlikely, but it can't hurt).

    We have a section for having money reimbursed to people who have been scammed through community rolls, but unfortunately (and understandably so) imposter reports don't count as valid reports. I'll leave it below for future reference.

    I learned this the hard way.

    What needs to happen, is discord needs to stop letting people make accounts with the same name as other people but with different capitalization. Limiq#5555 and limiq#5555 should not be allowed.
