How to switch your graphics card

How to change your graphics card

    1. Supplys.

Youll need a screwdriver, your new graphics card, and computer.

    2. changing the graphics card

Well changing your graphics card can be key when you want a gaming computer. Usually after a while your old Intel graphics card will be out dated and you'll need to get a brand spanking new NVIDI GeForce graphics card that will support your next gen game. Well I'm here to help. First, you need to locate your graphics card. Here is a picture of were mine is. Remember, before doing this unplug all of your cords connecting to your computer and turn your computer off. Dell does not support new graphic cards . If your buying a graphic card for your dell you just waisted your money.

There should be a screw connecting it to the computer. Unscrew this and carefully take it out. If the power supply is blocking it unscrew it and take it out.

Now you can put your new graphics card in. Car fully place it into the slot until its secure and clicks. Now screw the screw that you took out of the old graphics card into the new graphics card. Put your power supply back and cords back into the computer and boot up your computer. When you boot up your computer it should say that a new hardware has been found. You need to install this because this is what runs your graphics card on your computer.

There you go a brand new graphics card that will run your next gen games. Just remember. Always ask a local computer store if your graphics card is right for your computer. If not your graphics card can be more powerful then the computer its self and screw up the computer.

How to switch your graphics card

You would be amazed at how long it takes to try and get your graphics card out. And especially finding where it is.
