The woman herself is ugly but I really like the text and how well you made it blend.

She's quite beautiful when she doesn't have vampire eyes going on, and her eyes aren't all squinty haha

 

Some of the brushes on the left take up the focal. And the text isn't that good either. Those are the only things I can point out, as I just woke up. I'll edit this if I find anything that would turn the viewer's eyes off of the focal.

Not really. Her eyes where not what I was looking at, her nose and mouth.

Nose is so skinny and pointy almost looking like a stick and her mouth is too pushed in.

 

Yeah, I noticed that after posting what you just quoted, her nose is really narrow, but this isn't the most complimenting of her photographs, I promise you.

your focal point is about 45/55% through the signature width, preferably should be 33/66%.

No real lighting, just a white background.

I was going for somewhat of a simplicity theme, that's why I didn't do much with the background, should I have?

 

Just try to not make it so chaotic. Try to make it flow as much as possible without whoring out effects.

Thank you Gears, Kiabin, there wasn't too many effects on this, linear dodge for the soft brush color, and three gradient maps set to color, soft light, soft light.

 

For such little gradient maps, I think you did a decent job. Just try your hardest to get the best results.

 

Thank you, but it was easy for this signature, the brushes were layer clipped so they already matched, the boarder was just eye dropped from her face, the only thing the gradient maps really did was tone down and match up the soft brushes:]

I'll try harder on the next one, hopefully it comes out as decent as this one, 3 years and mine are still mediocre haha:/
