Just got banned for Macroing.

It says i can appeal. Should I wait a few days before appealing or do it immediately?

It doesn't matter when you appeal. I've heard that this appeal actually does work for some macro offenses:

Hello, I am writing to you as the parent of my son, (your acc name). He was recently banned for a false accusation of a macro and using a bot to play the game for him. I must object. You see, my son has a very serious case of dementia and has not slept/has not has much sleep for several weeks. Also he is xenophobic, so cannot go outside. Therfore meaning he has nothing to do apart from play Runescape. That is why he has been able to stay playing for very long amounts of time. He loves your game. Also, he rarely speaks ingame due to being extremely shy.

I can see why you would accuse my son of using a bot, as he has played for very long amounts of time and over night and not speaking. But thats just because he has nothing to do and is very shy.

I hope you will read this, realise your mistake, and release the ban on my sons account.

Because they take like a year to lift. And if the ban is a "manual permanent ban" you'll never get the account back.
