I got hacked WTF :O

I used rsbots.net bot only and now i am hacked, i just put my email to recover but jagex hasnt sent me an email 10 minutes have passed, wtf? what should i do? i remember the answers to my security questions etc .. how can i recover my acc with them




i finally recovered it and im in my account thank god i have a bank pin and nothings wrong, but still why does the last ip logged in show as mine? :/ i was hacked im sure cause i tried twice or thrice with all correct spellings still my password was wrong :s

 

Maybe you opened a link that you thought was a jagex/runescape link?

nope i havent, i always confirm its from jagex and i am a computer literate i know about phishing sites/rats/keyloggers etc. btw i just recoeverd it i recieved the email but i cant still log in to my account i get this

Did you put your password and pin on the RSbot client?

I'm so paranoid I don't put any pw or pin on the client, I did the first time,
but got scared and cancelled the pin to create a new one.

 

yeah i had my password on rsbot client but i didnt keep my pin on it though.

Start a virus scan, to cheq for any keyloggers etc.

 

I would recommend you scan your computer with Malware Bytes. The 'person' could have hacked your account and not have logged into it, which could be an explanation while your IP was the last one to log in.

 

sounds like you got a problem on your hands, only way you can get hacked is by your fault. aka keyloggers from downloading stuff, or even placing a password for rsbots... rofl sorry bro

 

scan your comp cuz those bots dont hack

 

That's the type of bot i use also. I think it is the best kind of bot. I have never gotten hacked by it.

 

Do like others have said and scan your PC for any malicious files.
