Jagex deleting Banned accounts?

yea simple as that, i had 2 accounts banned a few months back, now i cant login to website or anything, and ill just get the invalid password message.

 

I suppose it's possible. Although I don't recall jagex ever deleting accounts. In their ToS they say they can delete items off the accounts, but it doesn't mention accounts themselves. Check the highscores and see if they're on there/have different levels NVM - forgot banned accounts don't show up

If you have an email associated with them, check and see if you got any emails regarding information changes. While it's a long shot, being hacked isn't totally out of the realm of possibility.

 

They don't delete accounts.

 

It is highly improbable as they wouldn't delete accounts. I personally have like 5 banned accounts I still have access to.

 

I doubt they've been deleted - Jagex doesn't delete accounts. Are you certain that you just haven't forgotten the password/mispelled the username?

 

haven't received any emails, and I'm 100% sure that the info in my wordpad is accurate

 

Try send a email/ticket, haven't heard of 'deleting' accounts before.

 

If they're banned permanently why are you even bothering with logging in to begin with? Confused, can you just clear this whole thing up for me. Are the bans permanent or were they temp bans? Were the accounts registered to an email? Did you have all recovery information or jag enabled? Are you even the original owner?

You can probably email [email protected] with your recovery information, that's if you have any.

 

perm banned, but just checking them once in a while to see if they actually will do something about the appeals lol, and yes they were registered to a email

 

Were the accounts maybe recovered by people? That's coming back into popularity with a new method apparently (only what I've heard in an IRC chat or two).

I'm not sure if recovering is even possible while banned though so correct me if I'm wrong.

 

You should be able to contact them easily using the [email protected] and they'll sort out all the problems you're having. If they offer assistance on banned accounts? That I do not know.

 

I think its possible, you never know they could be freeing up some new names etc.
Add your accounts ingame and see if they are still there.

 

they don't really delete accounts that very often unless you did something REALLLLLLLY bad i don't think they will.

Maybe.. someone hacked your banned account, which doesn't make any sense, or you just forgot the pw =p

100%, Jagex do not delete accounts.

I would hope they wouldn't. You most likely forgot your details.

 

Your details are wrong. They have only RENAMED accounts a few times, and it is to like #4050696969, you are still allowed to log-in to website ect.

 

My banned account witch is like 7 years old is still there
